Even when I am unsure about my present situation, God is with me in the moment, weathering the storm with me. 

Paying more attention to what God is doing and looking for Him in the media I consume might be the best thing I bring with me from all of this.

For some reason, I distinctly remember writing an entry about the seasons. I vehemently insulted spring, asserting that it was by far my least favorite season, and drew a picture that was mostly angry scribbles showing how bad it was. 

If you know the game tug-of-war, then this probably all seems simple. In the game of teamwork though, these are often some of the biggest pitfalls

For me, the idea of going into isolation was exciting. I am an extreme introvert by nature and the thought that I wouldn’t have to leave my apartment and see people all the time sounded like an ideal situation.

To me, yielding is the opposite of that. Rather than white-knuckling the steering wheel of my life, I know that what I really need to do is…you guessed it, let Jesus take the wheel.

As we have watched the COVID-19 virus spread from Asia to almost every nation around the globe, we have watched the same drama unfold in almost every country.

We don’t have to live in such a way that death is always looming at our doors. If we die, we die knowing that death too is under Christ’s domain.

Sometimes I take English clubs for granted, but in this season without them, it is not hard to see that the Lord has truly blessed my life with these teenagers during the last three years.

Recently, I have felt challenged to keep the radio off when I drive alone. With the absence of music, I can reflect on who God is.

I have already begun to see the ways that focusing on what God wants for us through these values has helped our team grow to be a healthier team.

I’m here to share God’s love with the Hungarian people, and speaking their language is a huge part of that.
