If anything, this past year has taught me how bad I am at waiting on the Lord. Lament has given me a language to express my frustrations while waiting and turning back to the Lord to give Him praise and glory.

Through the unknown, God has revealed Himself as Jehovah Jireh – the God who provides. It has shown the Holmes that no matter where they are, God is the primary provider in their lives.

The serenity of God’s creation made room for women to meet their grief face to face. Not alone, but with safe people standing beside them.

As I look back on camps this summer, I am proud of the work and care that made them possible. I am thankful that God uses people, like me, to do his work.
